VA Garments Store Launch

Not that long ago I was lucky enough to have been invited to a store launch in which I wrote a feature on. Read my write up on this event & more at So Fraiche.com to whom I blog for.

This brand isn’t a novice amongst the fashion scene. Having previously been featured in GQ Magazine, British Vogue & ASOS. Along with having international Superstar’s representing their brand. They are in fact celebrating their 5th year of establishment & what better way to create buzz around the brands SS15 drop other than opening their first store in the very heart of Camden.

The first 10 customers to purchase a piece of the new collection were lucky enough as to receive a complimentary t-shirt. And, to be honest it was difficult to resist any of the products. The dual textures itself drew me to want to grab each item. From their premium biker jackets produced in the form of leather & wool material. To the fleece co-ord sweater & bottoms with leather panelling.

VA GARMENTS wanted to give past & new customers an eclectic mix of products that they’ve never showcased before. And, this was achieved with merit alone by all the items being exclusive to the store only!

As a first time customer buying into this brand rest assure to know that all the stock is inspired, designed, sourced & represented by the men behind the brand themselves. It was refreshing to get an insight into what the brands niche is & where their evolving to.

Whether its from making the business smart decision to locate their flagship store in the centre of the soon to be fashion hotspot within London. Or to collaborate with Starter Black Label a second time around to produce a fresh snapback. Evoking clean lines in a monochrome colour-way with an incision of a statement of red, which ironically matches with the stores interior decor.

VA GARMENTS are in a lane of their own as far as I’m concerned they really know how to treat their clientele to the best service/product. Allowing customers the exclusivity of customising their very own bespoke items which will be hand made at the hands of the official VA GARMENTS designer ensuing a quick turn around time. Making sure their collection delivers to both the ladies & the gents in a full size range.

But don’t take my word for it go check out their store & speak to the masterminds themselves about VA GARMENTS at:

742-742 Camden Stables, Chark Farm Road, Camden, NW1 8AH. Or on their social media outlets: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook & their Blog.

Ami James x Hummel x Tattoodo

Coffin Cake PR were behind the successful Ami James x Hummel x Tattoodo collaboration launch party on Wed 24th Sept'14 which saw the legendary tattoo artist come together with Scandinavian sport fashion creatures & his very own social marketplace design company to create a fashion capsule consisting of 1 footwear piece & clothing items also.
The collection kept to a monochromatic colour-way with pops of red & muted grey throughout. It was clear to see that Ami has defiantly put his personal touch to every product whether thats from the bold 'A' positioned on the front of the american inspired variety jacket to the hand drawn design etched onto the back of the sneakers.

On the night press we lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the sneakers & the varsity jacket before official release on the man himself! While the rest of the collection was mounted for all to see on the walls of Ami's one & only London shop: Love Hate Social Club. The collection will be dropping this month around selected retailers in Europe & Japan. See below for a glimpse of the collection & a picture of me with the other tattoo legends at the party as well : D

I'm Back!!!

It's been regrettably almost 4 months since I last wrote a post on my blog. Ultimately blogging is something that I need take time out for to ensure that I'm uploading content & keeping it current. Cause I upload enough pictures on Instagram about so many different things that I have going on, etc & I want to say more but can't always say it all on there. So if I wanna walk that ladder to the top I need to 'remain myself & be more consistent.' Cause there's so many cats out here who claim their 'bloggers, stylists' & the rest of it. That I don't want to be the minority, I want to be the majority of people who create their own destiny. So watch the space & my Instagram account Instagram Person with folded handsVictory handPerson raising both hands in celebration NEW THINGS EVOLVING #NoteToMyself #work #fashion #writer #blogger #stylist #stylishtix  Smiling Face with Halo Rant over Warning sign

Summers Making Me Broke

This for me is sneaker heaven, I even had to add to my Boyfriends collection as well...I'm infectious what can I say. Along with those key summer bits of sunnies, shorts & of course the Nike Benassi's. However, this isn't all of my recent spending endeavours I also picked up a bright yellow jacket, floral trousers & mesh top all from my favourite spot...Zara.
Check out my Instagram we I've tagged where I got all these goodies from. Yay! more sun & events for me to wear these treats too.

A Stylists Work Is Never Done!

I was recently approached by JKG Photography to style a 'sports luxe' themed shoot for The Edit Magazine based on a track & field to really get everyone envisioning the same thing.

I was lucky enough to get some really key brands featured in this shoot: Puma, Saucony, Caterpillar, HYPE, JuJu, Rascals just to name a few. I tell you no lie this amount of brands was something else to carry around London. A BIG thank you to all the PR companies that came through & helped me out.

Final images for the magazine first issue will go live on the 25th July...so keep a close eye out for them! But in the meantime check out the behind the scenes from the shoot if you want to see the latest brands styled in a refreshing way, check out JKG Photography blog section for more details.
